A bench is only as good as what surrounds it. Seating sets the operator at the right working height for the bench rather than a generic office chair; a bench vise gives fabrication and metalwork a fixed clamping point; task lighting puts light directly over the work instead of relying on ambient shop lighting.

Choose seating first if operators are seated for a full shift, a vise if the bench does metalwork or fabrication, and LED lighting wherever visual inspection is part of the job — the three needs rarely overlap, so most benches only need one or two of these, not all.
