Who writes these guides

The buying guides are written by Wong Wei Ming, Business Development Manager at Primaxs Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd, the exclusive Malaysia distributor for Tanko Enterprise Co., Ltd. since 2006. Every guide carries a byline and the dates it was published and last updated.

Our commercial interest, stated plainly

We sell the products we write about. These guides exist to help you specify industrial storage correctly, and we would like you to buy it from us. We think that is obvious, but it should be said rather than implied.

What we try not to do is pretend a product suits an application when it does not. Where a Tanko product is the wrong choice — a standard drawer where you need a 200 kg T drawer, a painted finish where you need stainless — the guides say so, because a cabinet returned or resented is worse for us than a sale we did not make.

Where the information comes from

Product specifications — dimensions, load ratings, materials, drawer configurations and included accessories — are taken from the manufacturer's published data:

• Tanko Enterprise Co., Ltd. catalogues and product pages
• Department of Standards Malaysia for standards references
• DOSH / JKKP Malaysia for workplace safety requirements
• Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia for fire and building code

Practical observations — what fails in a humid workshop, which drawer heights get used, what a wash-down environment does to a painted finish — come from supplying and installing this equipment in Malaysian factories and workshops.

What we do not do

• We do not publish sponsored or paid placements. Nobody pays to appear in a guide.
• We do not invent test results. Where we quote a load rating or a dimension, it is the manufacturer's figure, not our own measurement.
• We do not claim certifications or approvals that a product does not hold.
• We do not use AI-generated filler to pad a page. If a guide is short, it is because the subject is short.

Review and updates

Guides are reviewed when the manufacturer changes a specification, when a range is added or discontinued, or when we find something wrong. The Updated date on each guide reflects the last substantive change, not a cosmetic edit.

Corrections

If you find a mistake — a wrong dimension, an outdated model number, a standard we have misread — please tell us and we will fix it and change the update date. Corrections are made to the page itself rather than quietly overwritten.

Any price shown on this site is indicative and in Malaysian Ringgit. Some configurations are deliberately left unpriced because they are built to order and the price depends on the specification. The figure on your written quotation governs — see our Terms of Service.
