This policy explains exactly what this website collects, why, and who it is shared with. It describes what we actually do, not a generic template.

What we collect
1. Information you give us
When you submit the quotation or enquiry form, we receive the details you type into it — typically your name, company, email address, telephone number and your message. We use this only to answer your enquiry and to quote for the products you asked about.
The enquiry form is delivered to us using a third-party form service, FormSubmit (formsubmit.co). Your submission passes through their servers, which are outside Malaysia, before reaching our mailbox.
2. Information collected automatically
We run our own basic website analytics so we can see which product pages are useful. It records:
- a randomly generated visitor ID, stored in your browser’s local storage, which lets us tell repeat page views apart without identifying you;
- your browser’s user-agent string (browser and device type);
- the pages you view on this site.
This data is stored in a database hosted by Supabase.
3. What we do not collect
We think it is worth being specific about this. This website does not use Google Analytics, Meta or Facebook tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or any cross-site tracking. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Clearing what is stored on your device
The visitor ID sits in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie. You can remove it at any time by clearing site data for this website in your browser settings. The site works normally without it.
Who else processes your information
- FormSubmit — delivers enquiry form submissions to our mailbox.
- Supabase — hosts the analytics database.
- Google — we maintain a Google Business Profile and a Google Merchant Center product feed. Google collects its own data when you interact with those, under Google’s privacy policy rather than ours.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as we have an active or prospective commercial relationship with you, and thereafter as required for our accounting and tax records. Analytics records are kept in aggregate for trend analysis.
Your rights
Under the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you may ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you, to correct it if it is wrong, or to stop processing it. Write to sales@storagesystem.my or to the postal address above and we will respond.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. We restrict access to enquiry correspondence to the staff who need it in order to quote and fulfil orders.
Changes
If we change how this site collects or uses information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
