Mould Racks — Pull-Out Levels, 1,000kg

Tanko's mould rack range covers two frame widths — MB-2 (two columns) and MB-3 (three columns) — both built around pull-out shelves rated to 1000kg each, adjustable in 50mm steps, running on omni ball transfer units with a safety pin to lock each shelf once extended. Both frames are available with 6 or 8 shelves (MB-2) or 9 or 12 shelves (MB-3), and with an optional hoist rail rated to 500kg for lifting heavier moulds on and off the shelf.

The choice between the two- and three-column frame is mainly floor space against shelf count: the three-column rack holds more per row in the same aisle width. Mould racks are specified where the pull-out rack range is not heavy-duty enough — injection moulding, die-casting and toolrooms storing moulds and dies that are too heavy to lift by hand.
