Louvred Board — Malaysia

The KH-306A is a steel louvred board, gray finish, sized W900 x H450mm, fixed to a wall rather than a bench. Unlike a perforated board, which takes hooks through round holes, a louvred board takes bin hangers and hanging bins directly onto its horizontal ribs — no separate bracket is needed for that accessory.

It is the panel of choice where the main need is bin storage for small parts rather than hand tools on hooks — electronics assembly, parts rooms and maintenance stores commonly fit a wall of louvred board with rows of hanging bins for fasteners and components. It can be mixed with perforated board panels on the same wall or on a Tanko hanger rack frame.

Louvred board and perforated board use different accessories, so a workshop mixing hooks and hanging bins on the same wall typically installs one panel of each rather than expecting one panel type to take both. A full wall of louvred board is usually specified where bin turnover is high enough that hooks alone would not keep pace.
