Hooks Perforated Boards — Malaysia

Tanko's perforated board hooks come in three materials. The KP-3 metal hook range is painted steel, 18 variants from single to double hooks, loop hooks and semicircle hooks, rated 3–6kg depending on type. The KP-6 plastic hook range is ABS, lighter-duty at 2–4kg, in several colours for visual sorting. The KP-7 stainless steel hook range is the largest, 64 variants across 7 hook types and 8 colours, rated to 5kg, for washdown or corrosion-prone environments.

Material is the main choice: steel for general workshop use and higher load, plastic where load is light and colour-coding is useful, stainless steel where the board will be washed down or is exposed to moisture or chemicals — food and beverage, pharmaceutical and coastal sites. All three ranges use the same board hole pitch, so hooks from different ranges can be mixed on one panel.

Metal and stainless steel hooks share broadly similar load ratings within each hook type, so the deciding factor is usually environment rather than strength.
