The WD-48Q3 is a Tanko steel top workbench — standard, measuring W1224xD775xH810mm, topped in steel. Built in Taiwan by Tanko Enterprise and supplied in Malaysia by Primaxs Marketing.
A steel top takes welding spatter, hot work and direct hammer blows that would destroy a laminate or timber surface, at the cost of being unforgiving to anything dropped on it. Fitted as specified, a perforated back panel puts the tools in reach and off the work surface; and the shelf takes the instruments and paperwork that otherwise colonise the bench.
