The laminate top wipes clean and resists the oils and solvents that ruin a bare timber surface, making it the sensible default for general workshop and maintenance benches. Rated at 100kg — sized for assembly, inspection and light bench work rather than fabrication. Fitted as specified, a perforated back panel puts the tools in reach and off the work surface; the shelf takes the instruments and paperwork that otherwise colonise the bench; and integrated sockets stop the extension lead running across the floor, which is the single most common trip hazard on a shop floor.
